I'm running Safari 1.3 with 10.3.9, and always in the past it's been able to block popup ads quite effectively. Now all of a sudden I'm getting the popups again, all over the place, such as at the Drudge Report http://www.drudgereport.com/. Does this mean that the admongers have figured out how to get around popup blockers such as Safari's?

Are you sure "Block pop-up windows" is enabled? It toggles with command-K.
