Tiger has run well on every system I've put it on. It should run just fine on yours.
The other thing is that alot of the recent X software comes in DVD format. I have a bare DVD drive that is collecting dust, can I use this to install the DVD software without a DVD decoder? or is a decoder just plain unneccesary and the drive should be able to install w/o problems?
The stock video card should let you play dvd's (the only thing you need a decoder for.)
