I think that by far, the easiest way to find out if you have a rev 1 or a rev
2 sawtooth is to look at the PS and see if you can find the wattage. 237 is
rev 2, 208 is rev 1. Telling a Gig E from a sawtooth is easy. For one, the
PS connector for the motherboard of a Gig E has 22 pins, a sawtooth has 20
pins. Also, the sawtooth rev 2 may have 2 extra holes for mounting a dual
processor card (someone please verify this), while the rev 1 certainly does
not. And
right about now im wondering what the hardware limitation is that keeps a rev
1 sawtooth from usiing dual processors. If its just short of 30WATTs from
the PS or short a couple holes for a heatsink mount, Id like to know. I may
experiment when i have the proper funds.
