ATA card? Never heard of it. The bus on the Sawtooth is 100 mHz,
nothing can be done about that. ATA support already exists, i.e., I
think there is another ribbon connector for a drive (besides the one
connected to the CD-ROM). Where would such a card go, why, and how
would I connect to it?
Be nice if we could get a Fry's down here...'fry' is all too apt a
description for the drive up there. (Tucson is 109F right now and
Phoenix is 114F.)
Ouch!! I'd be sitting in a lake somewhere, certainly not moving
anymore than neccesary for survival.

Oh yeah! That's why I don't want to live there again. I lived in Tucson
for 4 years, and graduated West Phoenix High School, Phoenix - to hot
and to much humidity in Phoenix.
San Jose is just about the best place that I've ever lived, well except
maybe Payson up in the White Mountains.
