Hi all.
I am a new owner of a Mac Mini with a Combo drive. I am running
Tiger 4.2. I'd like to copy a couple of CDs, which have old
applications on them. I do not have Classic installed. The
applications on the CDs I want to copy are all Classic or Windows.
I can't figure out how to make a copy of the original CD and then
burn a copy. When I use Disc Utility, I get an error message that
says "internal error". Is this because the original CDs were made
for OS 9 and earlier? Short of installing Classic, is there any way
to copy them?
Look at Disk utility. You can make a disk image which is stored on
the HD. You can then burn this image to a CD-R.
