Can you throw us a link when you complete this? I've never heard of a vertical trackball. Now you've got me curious. The closest I can get would be something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5220678810 ...that you could mount vertically (side of desk, perhaps?) The nice thing about this particular model of Trackman is that your entire hand can comfortably rest on it, with your thumb doing the tracking work.
