I installed Cocktail in a friend's G3B&W and configured the Pilot
section to run the scripts and repair permissions automatically.
However, I just discovered that they are not running unless the
computer happens to be on at the scheduled time. (log indicates
Cocktail has only run once since June) I need a "set it and forget
it" program that will run the scripts if the machine is on, or run
them then next time the machine is awakened. I was under the
impression the Pilot section of Cocktail did this, but it appears
to be a "you snooze, you lose" setting.
The latest version of Cocktail (3.6.4) says:
What's new in this version: Addresses an issue in which Pilot may not
run at the scheduled time
Perhaps this issue is fixed and all you need to do is upgrade?
