IMO I think that a external firewire drive enclosure and the Maxtor
200Gb drive would be your best bet. It will allow you to use the full
200Gb (minus capacity to format) and can be used on other systems that
have a firewire connection.
I'm not sure about a MickyMouseSoft system, I think that they format a
drive different than a Mac. I know that their format used to result in
a format that had a FAT32 (file allocation table) which kept track of
which sectors and all of the pointers to those sectors. Among other
items.
