You'll need a wireless card in your Mac but when you get this
little Swiss Army Knife you'll find that it will take the place of
Airport Extreme to connect you to the internet - plus it will let you
stream tunes for 50' or so, through walls and it will let you put
your (networkable) printer at an equal distance so you and others
admitted to your encrypted network (WEP+) can print remotely.
In a hotel room your laptop won't need to be physically hooked
up to the highspeed service in you room. I don't know what else
it will do but others may suggest ideas. Is it worth the money -
yes, especially since the price has come down from the original
$149. On the other hand, a bit of AirTunes thunder has been
diminished by the omnipresence of iPods.
