What is "Deep Sleep?" All I've got on 10.4.2 is "Sleep."

Beware:
If you use "Deep Sleep" a feature of you Mac OS X, then don't
install Security Up-Date 2005-007 Rev. 1.
Prior to installing Security Up-Date 2005-007 Rev. 1 when I put my
platform into deep sleep the complete system went to sleep, however
after installing Security Up-Date 2005-007 Rev. 1 when "Deep Sleep"
is invoked everything goes to sleep except the dish drive. I have
waited 5 minutes and the disk is still spinning.
So again I warn if you like and use the "Deep Sleep" feature don't
install Security Up-Date 2005-007 Rev. 1
