Not to beat a dead horse, but if you are still interested in trying to get this to work...
I acquired a Sonnet SATA card, and it is supposed to be supported under OS 9. What is the chip used on your SIIG card? I can't tell from the SIIG site myself.
If it's the same as mine, we might be able to get a different firmware and flash it.
Harry, you said your SATA works under 9... Was that without adding any drivers? Who made it and can you tell what chip it's using?
