Does anybody know if anyone will still be working on certain upgrades?
Perhaps a faster G5 for the G5s or dual core G4s for the G4s?
Well, FWIW, the Power PC Roadmap link at FreeScale throws an error.
Something regarding it being an orphaned page. I wouldn't read too much
into that, but I also wouldn't expect them to too much upgrading
either.
Unless Intel can come up with something, I'll miss the dream of having
unlimited RAM, though. So, yes, we have quite a lot of time, at least a
couple of years or so, to quit using Classic, and even a bunch more
time, due to Rosetta, before Mach-0 will totally rule the day.
All the best,
Ken N.
