Actually the beiges onboard IDE is 16MB/s.  So an ATA/66 card would quadruple 
your throughput.  Anyway, someone here has mentioned it, but there is a 
specification of these cards which says whether or not large drives are 
supported.  
Some ATA/66 cards do support large drives.  I think Sonnets do, but am not 
positive.
