I clipped the bit below just to identify my starting point. I did the Option on open and then threw out the "olds" in an attempt to solve an old problem/odditiy I've had with OE for several years. In my address book there is a blank line that, if I try to delete it, crashes the program and gives a "type 1" error. I don't know that this blank line is in any way harmful or anything else about it except that it is there, and nothing I have tried gets rid of it. Do you have any idea what this blank line is, how it might have come to be, or how to get rid of it? > > If you just want to delete *some* messages, do my #1.
