I have a LW NTR connected to my G4 and UMAX J700 via ethernet. I have a Buffalo Air Station acting as my wired router. The printer has an Asante talk Apple Serial to ethernet connector. The serial end fits my serial port on the printer. The ethernet uses standard ethernet connectors to the router. Both computers are connected to the router. My wife's Dell laptop connects wirelessly to the Buffalo and can print using the LW NTR. The format is not great for the Dell, but the copy is good enough to proofread documents. Both the G4 and the UMAX print fine, just like it was an old Appletalk connection but faster.
