Amen!

In fact my brand new mini with 1.42ghz processor and 256 ram felt glacial
in comparison to my ancient sawtooth g4/400 with a gig of ram. I absolutely
couldn't believe how slow it was.  I stuck in a gig of ram in the mini and
WOOSH it kicks that ole sawtooths butt all over the floor :)

In my humble often misguided opinion, RAM makes a bigger difference in X
than anything else. It was very usable on a 400mhz processor, provided that
ram was there :)
