Alternatively, you can try looking for one of those old Mic Apple
used to sell or include with the Mac.
No longer viable in today's multi-media world.
What is needed is something like a Plantronics USB multimedia headset.
Plugs right into the USB port, useable for online gaming, speech
recognition,, etc, plus it's full range stereo
