AFAIK, the USB -> serial adapters cannot do AppleTalk, which most
LaserWriter printers require.  Best thing to do would be to get an ethernet
hub and connect everything to the hub.  That way, more than one machine can
use the LaserWriter.  That is how I have my LaserWriter IIg, my 9600, B&W
G3, and SE/30 networked.
