Hey there, I just bought the Pioneer DVR-110D from newegg.com at a grand total of $53 after shipping and taxes. It came with no software, but if you've got OS X, it's a plug-n-play deal.
I have OS 10.2.8 so I used PatchBurn to enable burning from the Finder and iTunes. I think I read the drive is supported natively under OS 10.4 and later. But I already had Toast, which the drive worked great with before I did anything with PatchBurn. I have to say the drive is awesome; miles better than the CD-Writer I had in here before. I'd say ditch the "bundle" deal and just buy the bare drive, unless you're really pining for one of those pieces of software. So far, I would be inclined to say you can't go wrong with this drive.
