Thanks efly, I have downloaded it but why would it work when it is expressly "for older keyboards without the eject key" whereas I have the latest type of USB pro for the QS with the eject key that only works in X and I want to know about working in 9 (not in classic under X)? And why did you not take up my offer and be next to the best beaches in the world? BTW, I worked out a way to "manage" when booting into 9: 1. Remember to hold mouse down as it starts and the tray will open. From then on, keep a cd in (no matter what it is) there so that you can drag the icon to the trash to open tray and put a useful one in when needed. 2. Never close the tray without a CD in because until someone tells me or reminds me how to open it, I will have to restart and again hold the mouse down. All this because of the neglect or misdirected wilfulness of the QS producers to include a simple button. David Elmo -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
