Just be warned that there are no known USB 2 PCI cards that support
deep sleep on Macs. You won't have a problem if you use a device like
a scanner, but if you plug in a USB 2 card reader, USB 2 hard drive
(or an iPod via USB 2) or something like that, then your Mac will
crash hard when it goes to sleep, requiring a forced reboot. You can
turn off automatic sleep but that isn't a very satisfactory solution
if you ask me, and it doesn't prevent accidentally putting the
computer to sleep either. My advice - find some other solution,
perhaps buying a new Mac!

I got 2 PCI USB-2 cards at Rat Shack last week. $25 each I
believe. I put 1 in my G4 Sawtooth, and 1 in my Pee Sea. Both work
just fine.
