Hi,

I've gotten OS X 10.2 set up and working well now on the beige G3 MT I got recently.

Had trouble with it suddenly losing the screen, but that seems to have stopped since replacing the 9GB scsi drive with a 20GB IDE drive and removing the graphics memory upgrade I'd installed (suspect dodgy/dud memory on upgrade?).

Also managed to find 512Mb to put in it. So much happier with 512Mb than 224Mb :)

Anyway, my question was.

I'm using the G3 with a belkin USB KVM. I've got my 21" CRT attached to it, and an old Compaq multimedia USB keyboard and a USB MS Optical Scroll mouse.

All works fine it seems with the KVM etc (though I have to keep the KVM set to the Mac or OS X won't find the USB keyboard/mouse it seems).

Anyway, the USB keyboard is a UK layout PC keyboard, and the layout is different to a usual Apple keyboard, so @ and " in different places to what I'm used to (and what is on the keyboard). Does anyone know of a suitable keymap or setting I can use to change it?

thanks,

Kelly
