I.e., I get the printer dialog box,

With the Epson Stylus, if I turned if off and on
that seems to make the print manager happy.
But, I don't know how to turn Adobe PDF Writer on and off.
What version of PDF writer?
Adobe 7.0 Professional.
But, Bruce, as I say it also happens with the Epson Printer.
Does this happen with OS X's built-in PDF
creation?
I'm not sure how to access this "built-in" function.
But, I interestingly enough, when I tryied to convert a Word doc
to pdf using the Adope button ("convert to pdf" or "convert to pdf & e-mail")
I'm given a dialog box telling me that Word cannot find the Adobe printer and
suggesting that I install it.
All the while the Adobe printer utility icon is sitting on my dock.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Cliff
