YES.

I have a Beige G3 (upgraded to a G4) running 10.2.8 with an install of
9.2.2 on a second hard drive. I, too, have a PCI USB card installed.

I also have DiskWarrior 2.1.

I boot into OS 9 on the second drive when I need to DW the 10.2.8
drive and it always runs just great. Fixed me up once or twice. Good
program to have. I'm not sure what the note you are referring to is
all about-- maybe it is speaking of a newer version?

NOTE: DiskWarrior versions PRIOR to 2.1 are NOT OS X AWARE! DO NOT RUN
THEM ON OS X DRIVES! Versions 2.1 and later are OS X aware and safe to
run.

Good luck!
