Unfortunately, I went to purchase, and it says "Discontinued".
So I ordered this one for a bunch cheaper!

DVD drive models are upgraded and change really often as you've found
out.
My daughter has a Pinoneer '105' model in her G4 tower and keeps
complaining to me
how slow it is when burning DVDs. Her long jobs are usually
'overnighters'.
Just curious how much faster this '110' model is - compared to her
current drive.
For her birthday coming up soon, I can see myself installing this
drive.
Cursing briefly - I know how to do that .
TIA
Jim
The Pioneer 105 DVD-RW drive takes apox 12-15 min to burn a full DVD
disk using DVD x 4 media. So if it takes over night don't blame it on
the DVD burner! Software or a too slow CPU is the likely reason. So
buying the fastest DVD burner isn't going to be the fix your hoping
for. Will S
