Same thing here, with the video problem. It seems the 10.2.8 update did something weird to mine, and rather than try to repair it, I just reinstalled Jaguar. No one seems to have come up with a definitive fix for it, tried Panther, it was all right for a few updates, and the problem returned.

Yes. That is what I was talking about. It's a great computer. I much prefer it in capacity and design to the iMac line. And it is my favorite beige-Mac design; it looks cool, if, well, like a big molar!

The SCSI problems mentioned haven't been solved yet. This is the second flaky thing I've noticed about the Molar on OS X Panther. The first was the main video: of a sudden, after X installed, it became rather dark. But I hooked up one of my monitors to the standard, onboard video out, and voila! it's perfect.

The System Profiler wouldn't read the SCSI even when the Astra was taken off the chain. I'll still work on this problem... I think.
