Not at all. Turning on a Sawtooth from the keyboard works great - if
you have a keyboard with an ON key of course... Never figured out why
Apple dropped that from their newer keyboards.
And by the way, do you guys realize that a brand new Apple keyboard now
costs only $29? I am very happy with mine
Chris, the functionality should remain with the ADB-USB adapter. In
fact,
you will also have the power key, which can be used to shut down the
machine, instead of having to go to the Apple menu to shut it down.
Starting up is a different matter, since I don't think USB has the same
ability to sense the depression of the power key to turn on the
machine.
Think that was lost when the Sawtooth machines came out, since they
didn't
have an ADB port
