I'm still an ADB Mac user. When I added a B&W to the mix, I continued to use the ADB input devices, switching Macs with a Moniswitch from Dr. Bott.

Well, burglars got my B&W and my Moniswitch. The police have recovered the switch but not the Mac. I've upgraded some older G3s, and intend to use the soon-to-be-returned (here's fingers crossed) Moniswitch to run a number of Macs at once. My question is . . .

what's the scoop on USB-ADB converters?

If I replace my B&W (perhaps never to be recovered) with a more up-to-date ADB-less Mac, can I use one of these converters and route it through the Moniswitch? (This would take a USB cable, run it through a converter and then through the Dr. Bott Moniswitch.)

Or would that be to mix things up too much?
