I am not sure about freezing. Isn't there a possibility of the battery
bursting?
I know that I have kept all my batteries in the packaging and in the fridge,
in the vegetable crisper. The manufacturer's instructions are a "cool, dry
place." The idea of frost on the battery is not a good idea, IMHO. That's
what would happen in the freezer.
