Do not have anything attached to the onboard video port. If you do, your beige sees 2 monitors attached, therefore the Radeon is listed second. I have a Radeon in a beige running a 21" at 1600 x 1200 in 10.2.8. I have nothing attached to the onboard video and the displays preference pane only shows one monitor. I have not mucked with the open firmware.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I've worked it out a bit since posting. Took me a while to figure out that you can change which is the primary display simply by dragging the white bar over. do'h.

Just attach the kvm to the radeon, and the monitor to the kvm. Since you have the monitor attached 2 places, your computer is showing 2 monitors. BTW, this is assuming that your monitor has a A/B switch for 2 inputs.

This is what it is currently set up like. I left the onboard pplugged in to be abl eto check it was booting ok after
changing settings.

My monitor can switch between the 2 inputs by the front controls. So it'll prove useful for when i may need to sort stuff out when it is booting up I guess.

HTH and is somewhat clear.

Thanks.

Kelly
