Two Questions:

I have aquired a couple machine specific software reinstall sets 10.4 and 10.3 for eMac which were supposed to allow instalation on any system--but what I wasn't told is that I needed an "Adapted Universal Install DVD/utility" or equivalent-- anyone know what this critter is and if it is a hack or an approved Apple Utility, where to download it??

Is there a utility for breaking down DVD install packages into CD versions?
