Well, according to the ATI page, the card can "Drive two displays
simultaneously with independent resolutions and refresh rates".

So that would be two monitors on one card.

As for the other part, yes, you should be able to move the stock card into
a different slot and use it to run another monitor as well.

When I pulled out my old Sun 21" monitor for my old B&W, I dropped in the
original ATI Xclaim card and ran the sun monitor off of that while using
the LCD on the Radeon 7000.
