By the way, the description of U-shaped is a stretch. I was
trying to figure out what they were talking about when I got the info from Apple when they talked about a U-shaped bracket. The bracket is just a box that allows you to stack two drives on top of one another with a space in between the drives to allow cooling. In between the hard drives the box has a not too wide slot cut into it that technically qualifies it as a U-shaped bracket, and aids the cooling. As to where you might find one of these, I am
not sure.

I have a G4 733 DA that came with no internal hard drives. I have since
added two inside, placing them side-by-side onto two of the three
individual "plates" where they logically attach. It is my understanding however that there is a U-shaped bracket that I've heard referred to as a "sled" that allows two hard drives to be conveniently stacked in the number one space. This would allow me to run two hard drives as master and slave using the same cable?? Can anyone explain what this part is and where I can get one? Is there another message board related to this G-List where people buy, sell, and swap Mac stuff? Thanks for the help.

The G4's come with such "Dual Hard Drive Brackets" (Apple part # 076-0778). If it is missing, you can buy one from Hardcore Mac:
