Well, Panther is what Im using and it still consistently reports 100MHz bus 
and 400MHz processor speed.  I tried system_profiler...also 100MHz bus.  I just 
really wish I could find my Mac OS 9 CD.  Also, I know I complain a lot, but 
I wish Mac OS X would report the actual bus speed!
