Out of morbid curiosity, were _all_ of the iPods through the Shuffle OS 9
compatible? Somehow, I thought that Apple was quite determined to have
everyone on OS X and that only, say, the first generation of iPods were OS 9
compatible.

Don't get me wrong: if the iPod family has been OS 9 compatible all along,
that may be the final nudge to get me off of the fence and actually (gasp!)
_buy_ one.

Okay, a used one.

Best,

James Fraser
