Running OS 10.4.2, I have Toast and Popcorn as well as Disk Utility.
Disk utility is the way to go.
Stick in the original disks, select the volume to image (not the
physical drive icon, but the one right below it) and select File >
new> Image from <disk device name> which will be something like disk6s0
Then it'll ask where you want to save it.
lather, rinse, and repeat until all are done.
