Just a thought, could the CD be a 9.2 upgrade? ie, to take you from 9.1
to 9.2? These are not bootable.
I have had an 8600 refuse to boot off a retail OS 9.2.1 cd.
Not really suprising since the 8600 isn't supported by 9.2.1.
