And if I can go straight to Tiger (full retail version)... the best
deal I've found so far is with OWC, for $99. I was hoping to find a
package of Tiger with all the iLife applications, but haven't found
that yet.
If someone in your household has any association with an academic
institution, as a faculty, staff, or student, you can buy Tiger from
the Apple Education Store for $69, and iLife'05 for $59.
