Unfortunately with > WaM Com there is no hope because nobody's developing it anymore. > -- Well, my WaMCom takes quite a while before freezing completely on 9. I have a lot of memory and give it heaps. But it does play up after a fair bit of activity (I suspect memory problems build up.) Quitting the program and restarting the program (not the OS) helps heaps (er!) One thing that I have noticed is this (mentioned before somewhere by me): Mozilla open often stops characters being able to be entered into the Sherlock 2.1 file finder search box! Just nothing happens on typing! Quit Moz and bingo, Sherlock is fine! What a thing eh? About freezing as tight as a drum. No, as a matter of fact. It is one of the few programs that when there is a freeze on set up, will actually respond to "force quit" signal. If I have a freeze in other programs, eg, Fireworks or Photoshop, this is not always possible. -- David Elmo -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
