Greetings,

I have reached the point that I want more Hard Drive space in my 2 B&W G3s.
Money is in very short supply right now so I am thinking along the used/refurbished market.
What should I look for or avoid in IDE drives?
Are there any particular brands one should avoid for use in a Mac?

I assume that most any IDE hard drive should be compatible is that correct?

I have noticed that the IDE drives listed in the Apple Macintosh section on Ebay seem to be more expensive than the drives in the general computer section so naturally I wonder if there is a reason.

Any helpful comments gratefully accepted.

Tom
