The object of having a backup drive is having all that stuff in more than one place at a time.
The moment you delete old stuff from your computer "because it's backed up on the other drive" that other drive itself needs a backup. And yes, this means you need to keep getting bigger and bigger drives, or move some stuff off to optical disks (multiple copies, stored in different locations for the truly cautious)
... or does anyone think there's hope for me to resurrect this drive? I don't own Disk Warrior for Tiger. Will that maybe save my @ss?
