1. I share an LCD monitor between an ungly old HP Pavillion and
a G3MT using a mechanical KVM switch. Each machine has
their own keyboard and mouse. Works OK, but there is a bit
of "blur" on the screen if you look closely. The advangage
of not having two big CRT monitors on the desk makes up for
the minor problem. Sharing the monitor between the G3 and the
G4 shouldn't be a problem.

2. Sometimes machines lose track of the mouse settings when 
they are switched off and then added back. At least this
is sometimes a problem if you are running something like
"Mouseworks."

3. Got me.

4. If the G3 "hangs" it may not recognize the "three fingered
salute" from the USB keyboard. There is always the power button,
but...
