Hi all,
I am thinking of selling my 3rd Gen 10 GB iPod to a friend who uses
Windows. Do I have to reformat the iPod to FAT32 somehow so she
can use it? How do I go about this with all Mac equipment here?
Will the Mac still recognize the formatted iPod afterwards?
Your friend will need to reinitialize the iPod with the windows
version of the iPod Firmware Updater. It will be set back to factory
settings and when plugged into the PC, will format as FAT instead of
HFS.
