Hello Gang, I was wondering where to go with this. On one of our stations at school, iTunes absolutely refuses to launch; I went the corrupted preferences route, and finally deleted all related files in both main Library preferences and User Library preferences. Installed iLife 5, which updated iTunes to 4.7.1 (this machine is still on OS 10.3.5), and darn if it didn't do the exact same thing, upon double-clicking, or activating the Dock icon, the Mac goes through the motions, but no start up screen, nor any application-related task menu items to open a new window (the task menu remains "stuck" in Finder mode). The recourse is to force quit iTunes always.
Any thoughts? Oh, this unit is not connected to the internet. Thank you for thinking about it, Dana -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
