Me,

I got that on my G4/1 GHZ Sawtooth when my boot volume was on a SCSI drive that was connected via a PCI SCSI card. When I changed to the IDE drive, I had no more problems. The drive doesn't mount sometimes. This is not your set up, I'm guessing. What I'm hinting is that it might be the computer can't mount the drive. But I'm guessing without so which flavour G3 do you have? How is the boot volume connected to the logic board? IDE? SCSI? USB external? Firewire? Need info to help!

Howdy

I reset the pram on a 350mhz G3. (cmd-opt-p-r)

Now, on boot up, immediately after the grey apple appears on the grey screen, a large grey circle with a line through it appears.

What did I do? Wrong?

Running 10.3

Thanks

me
