Daniel writes, <You'll probably need a newer version of iTunes that supports AAC (not sure when that was added) in order to convert the AAC to MP3.>
Mmmmmmm, well, so far as I know, the newer versions require OS X....so that's out. and Greg Burkman writes, <You may want to search over here: http://www.pure-mac.com/> Now this, I did. I ended up downloading a few applications that I THOUGHT -- with my total lack of experience on this -- LOOKED like they might convert it, but they don't. The apps were OggDrop, PlayerPro, Audion 3.0.2a and mac3dec 1.6.3. I don't know if this is because I really don't know what I'm doing in this realm -- to the point of not even being able to pick the right applications -- or because they just don't convert m4a to mp3. I guess what I really need is for someone to tell me which specific application(s), compatible with OS 9.2.2, will convert an m4a iTunes file to an mp3 iTunes file. Thanks for trying, Daniel and Greg, and thanks to you or anyone else who can tell me what application I need. ~Yersinia. ________ "When a man talks dirty to a woman, it's sexual harassment.
