I accidentally trashed a user account, and had to use FileSalvage to
recover it. Now I've got all these loose, recovered mail files sitting
around on the desktop that I've got to put back where they belong, and
I don't know where they go.
FileSalvage put one batch of files in a folder named Mail "(inbox
standard mailbox file)", and all the files in that folder are numbered
and have the suffix .txt. A second folder is labeled "Recovered Mail
(mail.app.email), and all the files in that one have the suffix .emlx
following a number.
I'm running 10.3.9. Can anybody tell me these files belong, so that
Mail can see them?
