Just bought a used PB500 G3/FW and installed a 512Mb chip to add to
the existing 256 chip. Just ordered 10.4 which will arrive later
this week; running 10.3.9 now.
I know that OS X in general likes gobs of RAM. Will the PB benefit
much from removing the 256 chip and installing another 512 chip for a
total of 1G?
I only use the PB to run iTunes, Word, a wi-fi card, and Safari simultaneously.
