Thanks for the helpful replies to my question on SDRAM for my B & W G3.
I'm still on a beige G3 mini-tower, and had overlooked the fact that
this box uses the same PC100 chip so guess I'm set for memory :)
Now a new dilemma. I recently had to revert to dialup due to lack of DSL
affordability. Yesterday I moved my hard drive, memory, and video card
from the biege to the Yosemite then reached for the modem cord, and
found nothing to plug it into! I just assumed I had a serial modem port.
So I had to move everything back to the minitower. :(
This box doesn't have the internal modem, and I've heard about issues
with that anyway. I'd like to continue using my US Robotics 56k
external, is there a way I can?
A PCI card with the serial modem port, or...
I have a 4-port ethernet router that was used for DSL, I wish there was
a way to hook the 56k modem to that but I'm just dreaming, right?
