Oh oh. How will I open the CD tray on my new (soon) G5 PM with a M$ keyboard?

Typical Apple finesse: tap the f12 key to pull up Dashboard, press it longer to eject the CD. Actually, the CD ejection has always taken pressing and holding it a bit of time, to prevent accidentally ejecting a disk (and doing that doesn't cycle it through Dashboard, although on my Powerbook, especially if it's been using my larger Pro keyboard at work I'm hitting it when I aim for the delete key.)

Nice! They keep doing things right. I hope they've fixed the Jaguar swap file problems too.

You can turn off the F12 key for dashboard using the keyboard prefs...I forgot about that.

Sounds like Apple has that problem covered, but thanks for the tip. I've done a bit of reading on Tiger but there's still lots to learn.

Tech Tools 4 is selling well. Is there a good reason for that? Or would DiskWarrior still be a better investment? I haven't had time to look into MacJanitor.
